About the FastFutures programme
The FastFutures programmeWe are partnered with Avado Learning to support and promote their FastFutures programmes across the NHS since its launch in the summer of 2020.
Built to bridge the gap between education and employment, FastFutures increases the employability of young people from all backgrounds by preparing them for the increasingly digital workplace.
FastFutures connects employers and young people to allow learners to expand their networks, gain exposure to employers, and develop their interest in working for those employers and within industries they encounter along the way. As a result, employers engage, attract, and promote job opportunities to a motivated talent pool who can provide in-demand digital and data skills.
FastFutures has expanded to release several new digital and data bootcamps which are fully funded by the Department for Education (please note, they are 70% funded for existing employees). These 6 - 12-week bootcamps are available to both NHS colleagues and those seeking employment to the NHS.
The NHS can use the bootcamps in 2 ways.
- Up-skill current NHS staff to improve their data and digital skills - those who complete the bootcamp can also progress onto a professional digital apprenticeship.
- Access to a diverse talent pool of young people who have completed the training to potentially fill data and digital vacancies within the NHS and health and care partner organisations.
If you are interested in or have friends or family who may be keen to develop their employability skills, are entering the workforce or are focussed on progressing a digital and data focussed career in the NHS, then the FastFutures programme of courses is worth considering.
Find out more about the bootcamps on Avado's website or contact them directly.
