Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) and Professionalism survey
Professionalism is about more than job titles, it’s about being recognised for what you know, how you work, and the standards you uphold.
The National Coordination and Liaison Committee (DSDN), the Federation for Informatics Professionals (FEDIP) and all aligned professional bodies have created a professionalism survey to build insights and are asking for responses by 11 July 2025. Complete the survey
In health and care, where digital and data professionals work alongside clinical and operational colleagues, being seen as part of a recognised, standards-driven profession can make a real difference. It builds trust, strengthens influence, and helps ensure digital and data have a seat at the table where decisions are made.
Professional body membership supports this by offering independent validation of your skills, ethical standards, and commitment to development. It also gives you access to career-enhancing resources, including mentoring, industry updates, CPD, conferences and a community of practice. Registration with FEDIP adds a nationally recognised benchmark, helping to formalise your professional identity and raise the profile of the digital and data workforce as a whole.
To register, simply join a FEDIP recognised professional body, choose the appropriate level to apply against and provide evidence of your experience. Learn more on the FEDIP website. It’s a step towards being part of a visible, credible, and valued profession — one that’s essential to the future of health and care.
