    A week in the life of an Informatics Lead Nurse: Wednesday

    What I love about my work is that I have the flexibility to work from home when necessary. Wednesday is always full of back-to-back meetings. I see to it that I have regular breaks in between sessions. It is important to take care of our health and well-being even on a virtual environment.     A week in the life of an Informatics Lead Nurse: Friday

    Last day of the week and my favourite one as it is a "clinical Friday" for me. It is important in my role to be visible and easily accessible to staff in the clinical areas. I do this to keep up to date with their process, understand the workflow and listen to subject matter experts and end-users on where we can improve and optimise, making sure that we have the ward to board (and vice versa) lines of communication open.

    Hi, my name is Roda Luz Trinidad. Friends and colleagues call me Dang. I am the Informatics Lead Nurse at The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. I have 16 years of Adult Critical Care nursing experience. My journey in digital started in 2015 as the Senior Sister in charge of the QI project in digitising health records in ICU. I was offered to be part of the Trust’s digital transformation WeConnect team and have been in this post since September 2019. I am passionate about how digital innovation can help transform the integrated health and care system to ensure quality care delivery and using data to inform the way we work and support the population, with diversity and inclusion at the centre of practice.
